ACT has been established for 120 years and gives grants to help the children of professional actors. Some parents seek one-off help, while other families are in touch for many years. ACT covers educational costs (except private school fees), activities, transport, holidays, kit, special equipment and many other expenses from birth to 21, including student grants. ACT also funds childcare for actors who are working, to help them stay in the profession.
