The Theatrical Guild is a charity uniquely supporting those NOT in front of the curtain. We have recently helped crew members, electricians, stage door assistants, box office supervisors, ushers and many more all throughout the UK in times of need. We assist in a variety of ways including: offering financial support, grants for education / re-training within the industry and access to counselling.

Helps all Equity members and professional performers and their dependants. Grants for retraining, welfare grants, benefits and debt advice. Equity Charitable Trust was established in 1989. It was set up by Equity, the trade union for actors and performers, but is an entirely independent organisation. Our purpose is to help actors and performers who are in financial difficulties, or who need help with the cost of education or retraining.
